Former VYSA Board Member / Referee Passes Away |

 We are sad to announce to the Vancouver soccer community that Don MacLean passed away on February 15th. Don was a VYSA Director during the seasons of 1982-1987, 1989-1997 and 1998-2006.
Don was a referee and oftentimes could be seen out on the field wearing his leather slippers. He was also a Division Coordinator and on the 3/4 District Tournament Committee.
As the VYSA Recipient, he was presented the Pioneer Award at the 4District '99-'00 finals.
A Celebration of Don's Life will be held at his son, Stephen's residence, from 1-4 pm on February 26th. The address is 9168 - 143 A Street, Surrey.
